Supercapacitors as they are also known, are an energy storage technology that offers high power density, almost instant charging and discharging,  high reliability, and very long life.

Altus-500® Supercapacitor energy storage systems offer a safer choice for your employees and your neighbours. At the core of Altus’s systems are proprietary non chemical super capacitors with superior thermal and stability performance compared to traditional chemical, lithium-ion lithium iron phosphate cells.

Thermal stability

Altus-500® due to the use of super capacitors, it is inherently stable provides protection against misapplications or environmental damage. Super capacitor technology makes our cells virtually immune to the dangerous effects of thermal runaway that characterize competing technologies.

Health and Safety

Super capacitors are non-toxic, compared to nickel and cobalt-based lithium-ion cells, a Super capacitor Altus-500® cell uses no toxic chemicals or environmentally damaging material, safer to handle. Nickel and cobalt-based lithium-ion cells are considered hazardous materials when damaged.

Sustainability

Altus-500® energy storage systems is a more sustainable choice for your community. We have designed our advanced super capacitor cells to be environmentally friendly and does not pollute the environment when disposed of.

Made from Carbon

Activated carbon is the major component in the Super capacitor. Which does not pollute or harm the environment in which we live.

Long life span

Altus-500® Supercapacitor energy storage systems are designed for long life – up to 1,000,000 cycles, or 35+ years, without the need to replace. At the end-of-life super capacitors can be incinerated, remove Aluminum and disregard rest, which is nothing but activated carbon. A complete environment, friendly product.
